Serving a Global Community of Learners
OEDC Student Accountability System
The Student Accountability System (SAS) is a program designed by the OEDC for school leadership to examine the trends in the learning community they are forming. Many indicators become evident when the SAS is put in place. The systematic, data-driven program helps school leaders determine cause and effect in school planning, growth and development.
By having a system that serves to account for changes in demographics, specific population characteristics, and operating procedures, school leaders are able to make informed decisions during board meetings that can be tied to statistical trends. Moreover, having an SAS in a school system saves school leaders untold time and money from having to hire external accounting agencies to account for variables that are easily discerned at a moment's glance using the OEDC’s SAS.
